The Sunday and bank holiday driving ban will be cancelled again in most federal states as of 01.11.2020. Some states have special regulations concerning this. On the website of the Bundesamtes für Güterverkehr (Federal Office for Goods Transport) you will find which federal states have not reimplemented this driving ban.
